How do people add things like avatars and blinkies to there post? Also, after you get them do you gave to cut and past them every time into your message?

I know I am answering this late--I didn't even see this! I am so sorry.
Basically, what you do is right click on the blinkie you like, scroll down to "Properties", click on that & then copy the URL shown. Now go to your User CP (at the top left in the navigation bar on any page) and click on that. Look to the left and you will see the option to "Edit Signature". Now you can put all your blinkies there! Just click on the little picture icon and it will prompt you to enter the URL you copied! Easy as pie!

Ok. For easy as pie, I can't do it..I'm following the steps..I get to properties, the thing pops up, then I highlight and try to copy it..can't. ugh..i'm mental. guess keep trying.
